These Terms of Service govern use of Tellajob, the local-services marketplace operated by Livora Ventures Inc. They apply to the website and Tellajob services that link to them. Additional terms for a particular feature or transaction apply only when presented to you before you use or confirm it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Company, scope and contact
Tellajob is operated by Livora Ventures Inc. Our website is https://tellajob.com. Contact support@tellajob.com for account, service, payment or legal questions.
In these Terms, a Poster is a person or organization requesting a local service, a Pro is a person or business offering that service, and a job is a specific service request. A job listing is not an offer of employment by Tellajob.

Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tellajob. If you use Tellajob for a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to act for it.
Provide truthful, current account and profile information. Keep login credentials confidential, use your own account, and promptly tell us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity conducted through your account to the extent permitted by law.
Tellajob’s marketplace role
Tellajob helps Posters connect with Pros, compare offers and coordinate local services. Unless we expressly agree otherwise for a particular service, the Poster and Pro form the agreement for the job. Tellajob provides the marketplace and is not a party to that service agreement.
Pros decide which jobs to offer on and propose their own price and availability. Posters choose whether to accept an offer. We do not guarantee that a job will receive offers, that a Pro will be selected, or that anyone will earn a particular amount. Profiles, reviews and other marketplace information help you make a decision; they are not guarantees of safety, quality or suitability.
The parties remain responsible for obligations that apply to their actual relationship, including applicable employment, tax, licensing and consumer laws. Describing a user as a Pro does not override legal protections or determine a worker’s legal classification.
Jobs, offers and changes
Posters must accurately describe the work, location, access, timing, known hazards, budget and material requirements. Pros must accurately describe their offer, qualifications, limitations and availability.
Before work begins, confirm the scope, price, timing, materials, access, purchases and permits. Agree to material changes before additional work or costs are incurred, and record them through the available job or support flow. A message or edited description does not by itself authorize an undisclosed additional charge.
Posters are responsible for lawful and reasonably safe site access. Pros are responsible for performing work safely and lawfully and for maintaining the licenses, permits, registrations, insurance and qualifications required for the service and location.
Identity checks, credentials and badges
Tellajob may require identity or other eligibility checks before particular account actions. An identity-verification status describes a specific check and its recorded result; it is not a criminal-background check, a guarantee of skill, insurance or safety, or an endorsement of a person.
Pros must provide accurate credential information and keep it current. Displayed credentials, reviews and badges have the scope described in the app and can change when evidence expires or is reviewed. Confirm that a Pro holds any authorization or insurance needed for your particular job. Misrepresenting a credential or bypassing a required check is prohibited.
Payments, fees and payouts
Before you confirm a paid booking, checkout shows the agreed job price, any separate Poster service fee and the total payable. Applicable Pro fees are deducted from the amount payable to the Pro. Review the displayed amounts before accepting a booking or confirming payment. Fee amounts can vary; the disclosed policy for the transaction applies to that transaction.
Use a payment method you are authorized to use. Card payments through Tellajob are processed by Stripe. A booking is confirmed after the payment provider confirms payment and the app accepts the booking. If payment completes after the offer has changed or is no longer available, the payment is handled through the refund process.
A payment authorization and a completed charge are different. An authorization can temporarily reserve available funds. A charge, refund or payout may be subject to the provider’s verification, fraud checks and processing. Tellajob is not an escrow service or a bank, and does not promise insured funds.
Completion approval or a dispute decision can make an eligible amount payable to a Pro. A status showing an amount due or a payout approved does not by itself confirm that a bank transfer has occurred. Payouts require an available payout service and completion of its checks; transfer timing depends on that service and the receiving institution. No instant payout or fixed bank-arrival time is guaranteed.
Each party is responsible for taxes and reporting obligations imposed on it by law. Keep your receipts and transaction records. Report payment errors, duplicate or unauthorized charges to support@tellajob.com with the job or payment reference. Do not email passwords, full card numbers, bank credentials or government identification numbers. Your card-issuer, chargeback and statutory consumer rights remain available.
Cancellations, refunds and disputes
You can cancel an open job request through the available cancellation option. A booked job that has not progressed to “on the way” can be cancelled through that flow; an approved charge for the cancelled booking is submitted for refund. If no charge was completed, there is no captured payment to refund.
Once the Pro is on the way, has arrived or work has progressed, request cancellation or report an issue so the job record and circumstances can be reviewed. For a completed job, contact support or use the available dispute process instead of trying to cancel the completed record.
A review can result in a full refund, a partial refund and adjusted Pro payment, payment to the Pro, or continuation of the job. Relevant information includes the agreed scope, messages, approved changes, completed work, materials, arrival or non-arrival and supporting evidence. No cancellation fee applies unless it was clearly disclosed and accepted before booking. There is no blanket no-refund rule.
Send requests to support@tellajob.com with the job or payment reference, a short description and relevant evidence. Avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Approved refunds are returned through the payment provider, generally to the original payment method; bank processing times vary. Tellajob’s review does not prevent you from contacting your card issuer or exercising applicable legal rights.
User content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of job descriptions, offers, profile information, photos, messages, reviews, and other content you create, subject to the rights of others.
You give Tellajob a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, transmit, format, and moderate that content only as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and improve the service, comply with law, and enforce these Terms. This license ends when the content is deleted except for necessary backups, legal retention, or content already shared with others as part of a transaction.
Tellajob’s branding, software, design, and original materials are owned by or licensed to Livora Ventures Inc. Do not copy, reverse engineer, interfere with, scrape, overload, probe, or misuse the service, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Reports, moderation and account action
We may use automated screening and authorized staff review to assess content, reports and relevant account or transaction information. We may remove content, limit features, suspend access or close an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, comply with law or secure the service. Urgent safety, fraud or security concerns may require action without advance notice.
You may provide context or ask for review of a decision by contacting support@tellajob.com. Reviews are based on reasonably available information and do not guarantee a particular outcome. Monitoring tools do not mean that every message is read in real time or that support is an emergency or guaranteed 24-hour response service.
Third-party services and communications
Tellajob uses service providers for features such as hosting, login, storage, maps, identity checks, AI assistance, communications and payments. Provider terms and privacy notices may apply to your direct use of those features. Their availability and processing can affect the service.
We use the contact information and notification choices you provide for account, security and job communications. Promotional messages, if offered, use separate choices and any consent required by law. You can use the unsubscribe instructions in a promotional message or contact support. Disabling notifications may affect how promptly you learn about account or job activity. Carrier or data charges may apply.
SMS text messages
If you provide a mobile number and opt in, Tellajob sends account and job text messages, including verification codes, sign-in and security alerts, job offers, booking updates, messages from people on your job and support replies. Tellajob does not send marketing text messages unless you separately agree.
Message frequency varies based on your account and job activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also contact support@tellajob.com. After you opt out, we may send one message confirming the opt-out. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase. Opting out of text messages may limit features that require phone verification.
Availability and changes
Features, access and local service coverage may be limited or change over time. A planned feature, illustrative example or available website page is not a promise that a particular service, payment method or app-store version is available to you.
We may update these Terms prospectively. The revised version will be posted with its update date, and we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement when required by law. Changes do not retroactively authorize a new charge. If you stop using Tellajob, existing payment, dispute and other obligations do not disappear solely because your account is closed.
Warranties, responsibility, and applicable rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tellajob is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of user content, the quality or legality of a job, that parties will perform as promised, or any particular outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, Livora Ventures Inc. is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from another user’s conduct, a third-party service, or use of the marketplace. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or waives mandatory consumer, payment, privacy, employment, or other statutory rights.
Questions and legal rights
Contact support@tellajob.com to raise a question or seek resolution of a concern. Contacting support is not a required waiver of a legal remedy or a limitation on a deadline that applies to you.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies under mandatory applicable law. Disputes remain subject to applicable law and courts with jurisdiction. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
